I recently purchased my Mac from my employer (University) that ran version 7.2.4 of Sophos antivirus. Of course I cannot get this to update away from the Uni server and was wondering whether I'm better off paying for a Sophos year license or chaging out to the home edition. Does anyone have any insight into the pros/cons of either version?
you can't buy a "personal" license as Sophos is only licensed to enterprises. Apart from that - the home version is in terms of protection identical, the licensed version has additional management features which are of no use to you.
