After months of trouble free operation, autoupdate is hanging frequently. I have not changed any settings. The menubar shield and Autoupdate window show continuous activity which never completes, Version is 8.0.8c.
Is this a problem at the Sophos end or my end?
Thanks

Could be because Sophos has silently been upgraded to 8.0.9c.

My AutoUpdate is hanging too! I installed Sophos about 2 months ago and everything has worked fine until now. Suddenly, I see an X inside the menubar icon signifying Autoupdate is not running. Sophos, the program is running fine - I just did a complete scan of my hard drive. No errors.
How do I get Autoupdate running again?

Hi AMC3,
I take it from your other thread that you have since uninstalled the product. If not true, drop me a note and we'll work on diagnosing what happened to AutoUpdate.

Thanks, Bob! Yes, I've uninstalled Sophos for now. Just too many big issues happening on my Macbook Pro. I'm not 100% sure, but they sure disappeared when I removed Sophos. It is frustrating; I would prefer to have it installed.
