Just upgraded my version of SAV OSX 7 to the latest revision (7.3.2C) . I installed the new version over the top of the old one. Is this okay or would an uninstall of the older revision first be better? To note, the old .dmg file I originally installed SAV with is 'savosx_72_he' and the new one is 'savosx_73_he'.
But the BEST way is really just let Sophos AV upgrade itself, when it fetches for updates to its virus definitions it also fetches for program upgrades if they are available, and it automatically updates and upgrades itself, that's really the best way, it's how it's supposed to work.
