I have an Apple PB G4 running 10.4.11 When I install the Mac Home Edition (7.3.8C), I don't have the option to change location of the installation. When the installer opens to step 6 for Installation Type, an option does not appear to change the install location and it proceeds to install in the Application folder.
Any suggestions about how to change the install location - Thanks

You can move the Sophos Anti-Virus.app file afterward, but most of the software installed is put elsewhere on the system, and moving any of that would be problematic. Thus, there is no control over the install location.
If you don't have access priveleges for the Applications folder, you don't have access priveleges for running the software. Is there some other reason you don't want it available in the Applications folder?

I have local apps and local utilities. I moved the sophus app and uninstaller to Local-U/Sophos and have encountered no problems
