Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition

Currently running ClamXAV on my system, will there be a conflict if I were to install Sophos?

there's not only the potential - a conflict is very likely, it will at least produce errors in one of the scanners (unless the OS provides means for layered or staged protection and both products support it).

Hi akseeker,

QC is correct. You should only run one AV solution, and you will get conflicts if you run Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition alongside ClamXAV. The advice from the support and engineering teams here is to disable the pre-existing app before using the Sophos solution.

ClamXav alone is unlikely to cause a conflict. 

I would be wary of running ClamXav Sentry whilst Sophos Anti-Virus is present.
