I tried to remove Sophos AV by moving it to the trash, and I get the error message when I try to install the upgrade version. After reading your instructions I didn't find the "remove sophos..." application in the Library folder or anywhere else in my Mac HD. I reinstalled the original version, but still no sign of the "remove sophos.." application. How should I proceed to do a clean uninstall if I don't have the removal tool? Thanks.

Try downloading the trial of the enterprise version and "updating" -- the trial will include the uninstaller, which should then allow you to fully uninstall in preparation for using the Home version.

I am with Ana still, that is, I have removed the older application of Sophos and can find nothing in the library but when I go to install version 7, I continue to see the box saying I have to remove the older version.

I have the exact same problem. No "remove sophos" file in the library or anything. How can I install the new software if I can't uninstall the previous one?

Hi cbr and welcome to the forum,
I don't want to hijack this thread, so please excuse me for this little transgression! Hopping back up one, Graham, what changes would you like to see in the installation article? Which article do you mean? If you want to start another thread for the reply.

Hi Sandy and thanks for the welcoming message!
Can anyone help me? I've installed Sophos 3 yrs ago and am very happy with it, so how can I install the new version if I can't find that uninstall Sophos file? Is there any way to maybe download it? Or any way around it? Please...
Thanks for your help in advance
