I tried to remove Sophos AV by moving it to the trash, and I get the error message when I try to install the upgrade version. After reading your instructions I didn't find the "remove sophos..." application in the Library folder or anywhere else in my Mac HD. I reinstalled the original version, but still no sign of the "remove sophos.." application. How should I proceed to do a clean uninstall if I don't have the removal tool? Thanks.

Try downloading the trial of the enterprise version and "updating" -- the trial will include the uninstaller, which should then allow you to fully uninstall in preparation for using the Home version.

When I open the library there is no Sophos folder in it. Any other suggestions on how to remove it?

Nevermind, I found it. One more level. In the library open application support, then Sophos.

I am with Ana still, that is, I have removed the older application of Sophos and can find nothing in the library but when I go to install version 7, I continue to see the box saying I have to remove the older version.

Well I do not have that folder in my applications folder and a search in the hard drive turned naught

I have the exact same problem. No "remove sophos" file in the library or anything. How can I install the new software if I can't uninstall the previous one?

Can anyone help me? I've installed Sophos 3 yrs ago and am very happy with it, so how can I install the new version if I can't find that uninstall Sophos file? Is there any way to maybe download it? Or any way around it? Please...
