Scsn is slow, seems to be stopped

The scan hasn't moved, and says "archive.pax.gz" in the scanning window. What does this mean?

This means that it is currently scanning inside an installer archive... when all the files extracted from the archive have been scanned, the numbers will continue to increase.  As long as the progress bar is still throbbing, SAV is still hard at work.
