Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac Home Edition

Hey,

Over a period of a week Sophos always fails for me and gives the error:

Sophos anti virus error: Unable to initialize threat detection engine.... and something about being unable to find a file

Why would this happen and has anyone else on the forums had a similar problem? I was able to reintall sophos but I don't want to do this everytime. Can I assume a virus it not causing this behaviour I had only just reinstalled mac os x about 2-3 days ago.

well - the first half of this description is ok, but something and a file are too vague as there was likely a specific message stating the file name. A snippet from the log and perhaps a screenshot (you have to upload it somewhere else and link to it) would help.
