found Trojan OS X/DnsCha-E says to remove manually

The information in the quarantine section says that it as to be removed manually.  I cannot find the instructions - if you can tell me where to find the instructions - that would be great.  thanks.

Re: found Trojan OS X/DnsCha-E says to remove manually

There is an article in the Mac Tools Help forum: How to remove trojans ...

The name in the Quarantine Manager's Threat column is a clickable link. Depending on the threat found this will take you to the analysis for the threat (for example OSX/DnsCha-E or OSX/RSPlug-A, a list of analyses (on some occasions it can't find a matching analysis - in this case please post to this forum).

You can also click the link Security above, select Analyses on the left and use search.

Re: found Trojan OS X/DnsCha-E says to remove manually

Thanks for your help.  I did find the instructions, on how to do it.  I also found in the preferences that I can elect to have the software move the file if it cannot be cleaned automatically.  Found 30 threats, seems to have come from downloading video files for TV shows.

Thanks for providing this software - other application had not found anything.

Re: found Trojan OS X/DnsCha-E says to remove manually

Since Trojans do not do anything until they are opened/activated, is there a problem with simply deleting the file?
